The Trident Group provides SEA protection, muscle, and package escorting. They may have two openings now because two of their employees were killed while guarding something, likely the package that ended up on 370 in Diego Garcia.

Blackwater has a new name.

You are aware being in the army does not automatically make you into a bodyguard?

Having military background helps with weapons training, but is only a tiny part of it, naturally if you talking about pro work, not babysitting.

Other training you require to be pro and top paid bodyguard is advance driving, crowd control, marksmen, close hand combat, map creation and execution,, 1,2,3,4,6 men formations, surveillance and list goes on.

If you are genuinely interested, you may want to research for close personal protection schools in Israel.

Around 2-3 years study, around $100 000, however guaranteed very very highly paid jobs

Local firms will not employ non native for a number of reasons, one of them being inability to communicate with local authorities and other guards as well as the client himself.

Low risk jobs, do not pay enough and have enough local candidates for the job

Not sure, but my guess is that because there are so many self-proclaimed tough guys here, willing to work cheap, there ay not be many good jobs in the field. May be best to apply with the high tier companies rather than a protection agency.

Competition is tough in Thailand, due to the large amount of ex special forces residing here.

Ha My Granny has more experience , she shops in Tesco Lotus you know. and she speaks Fluent Thai, not many people do, its there biggest let down.
