May 17, 201412 yr I know that you must show 400,000 Baht in the bank that has been there for at least four months in order to get a one year extension of the O visa based on marriage, but what about a B visa. I am assuming that because it is a Business Visa and you are working for a company that showing money in the bank is not a requirement but I could be wrong...anyone help me out on this one?
May 17, 201412 yr If you are getting an extension of stay based upon working there is money in the bank needed. But if working for a company (not teaching) there is is a minimum salary requirement that varies according to the country you are from. For most western countries it is 50k baht.
May 17, 201412 yr you can continue to get an extension based on marriage with proof of an income of 40,000 baht per month.
May 17, 201412 yr If you are on non B visa & working for a company then your work permit & tax reciepts will be required along with compay documents for yearly extentions. Sent from my GT-S5360 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

In the past I submitted a letter to say the annual turnover of the company was less than the 1.8 million Baht (I think that was the threshold) required to register for VAT. That was accepted every time. This was when for applying for a new Non B visa at a Thai embassy, also renewing the Non B at immigration and extending the work permit at the labour office. Obviously this information is never volunteered in the notes with the application forms. Edited May 20, 201412 yr by ubonjoe moved reply from quoted text
