If this might be your dog, please pm or leave reply with description.

(Hope it's okay to cross-post this from the CM forum...)

sure someone is missing him/her,they are such loving, intelligent dogs, but they suffer in the heat[double coated] and as they are working dogs they will run a fair distance. look after him with plenty of water and plenty of love and company.dont try to make him do things as they can be a bit stubbon but they do learn quickly.if you cant trace the owner he will take to you as they are very freindly.

It certainly seems very friendly, and yes it likes to do things its own way. It's being looked after by a neighbor currently. I have too many dogs already so hopefully we can find the owner.

I would think he is pineing for his owner unless they mistreated him.if my experience is anything you should get him checked out by a vet, ours came to us 1yr.old after his owner and family couldn't take care of him.before we had him he did get loose for 2weeks and caught an infection from a bitch and he was very poorly,we had our vet put him on a drip and a course of drugs he was at the bottom of rainbow bridge going over would have been his last move.lucky for him and us he survived to become our son and he repays us with I can only describe as love behond our dreams.

taotoo has he been nuetured it certainly calmed ours down and stopped him grabbing the wife and trying to shaft her, they are very powerful so lets hope his owner comes forward, these dogs are not cheap around 20k.thb.i can tell you your neighbor will be sad to see him go.

The neighbour is very kind-hearted, and only took it in as it was lost - I'm sure they would be very happy to find the original owner. I drove past today and no sign of the dog, so hopefully its owner's been found already - will visit them later to see..

thanks taotoo if you can please keep us informed,i know there are millions of loyal loveable dogs out there but unless husky's are looked after with care they do suffer with the heat and I feel for them every time I see one or hear about them.
