Can I still get 7 day visa extension in Suvarnabhumi ?

Featured Replies

Hey,

I need a bit more time before i fly out of Thailand, before my 15days stamp from Cambodia expires (first visa run by land ever...), for which i got my outbound tickets already.

Is still possible to get 7 days extension in the airport? The requirements ara 1.900THB, one picture and outbound flight?

Can anyone confirm on this?

Cheers!

no you need to go to immigration office

It has never been possible to get an extension at the airport. You have apply at an immigration office and pay the 1900 baht fee.

You submit a completed TM7 form with attached photo. Copies of your passport photo page, entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card.

You be given 7 days to leave the country.

Air port only give you re-entry permit not extension, it's better go to Major Suksawat less people and service is fast .

Thanks!

So, i should go to Immigration Office in Chaeng Wattana. If my stamp expires, let's say Tuesday 27th...can i go tomorrow 20th and apply for the 7 days extension counting from 27th onwards or you should go the day of expiration?

Thanks again!

CW is closed. You have to use one of the 2 temporary offices. See the pinned topic on top of page one of this forum for info.

You can do it any day this week. I suggest you take a copy of your ticket out to show them if asked for.
