ATF Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 The military is announcing 100 names of people that must report to the military. Am wondering if some of the recently found cache holders have begun to sing. Sure they are all singing like Mariah Carey now. I can tell you for a fact there have been significantly more arms found than have been made public. We all look forward to you providing those "facts". - I don't expect you'll supply any but what does that matter, your opinion is fact , right? I understand your concern but if the real truth was released it could have completely spiraled out of control. The Coup happened because of these "facts" not because there was half a dozen assault rifles found here and there. 2
fvw53 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I could understand all this if the intention was to lock them all in a room until they had a solution that they were all agreed on. But its a job to understand where all this is going Sent from my Nexus 4 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app QUOTE I could understand all this if the intention was to lock them all in a room until they had a solution that they were all agreed on. UNQUOTE Yes they could do as the Catholic Church after Pope elections could take months even years with internal power struggles : lock up the cardinals until they have a solution 5555555 1
Soutpeel Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Due to report in 30 mins... wonder how many of the list will show up. Pretty sure Chalerm will not make it so early in the morning
phantomfiddler Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I hope he includes thaksin,s ex wife in the roundup. She,s as bad as any of them, despite the name change !
Piichai Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I think the big issue will be what he does about Suthep! Does he let the little piece of turd roam free and gloat or does he show some serious impartiality?? For the most part, Suthep has served his purpose already. Additionally, Suthep has already shown he's willing to compromise when he aligned with the Senate. 1

Trying to sift through the news is the main challenge, and trying to verify such reporting in other publications is an added challenge. What we do know is that the Senate is functioning, and that is a key indicator and a very promising one at that. The courts similarly. It will likely take a number of days before things become clearer. The first aspect of the administration of this coup is clearly to secure control. Popular Post ATF Posted May 23, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2014 Can't wait to see what the Army does when Yingers doesn't turn up at 10.00 am. It's going to be class! They may give Chalerm "a pass" as one suspects he hasn't sobered up from the night before by 10:00am... If the story is true..dear Yinger's is in Singapore, so we shall see....she may appear at 10:00am on Skype or Face time... It was announced on TVF yesterday that Chalem and his two sons, one a cop killer, were in custody. 4

Mister Fixit Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Prayuth will lock all the opposing sides in one big room and let them sort it out between themselves . . . last person standing gets to form the new Govt . . . and betting will also be allowed in this one-off televised event! lol On a more serious note, I'm expecting an announcement stating that the international arrest warrant for Thaksin has been resurrected. Yes, agreed, it should be resurrected, but they still have to find someone who can write it in English ...! I've already offered to do it for them free! 2
devaram Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 She is the current leader of thailand elected by the people. The court ruling to oust her was illegal. She has a moral and legal mandate to not show up as well as a natural instinct to save ones life? Is there any guarantee she would not be arrested or killed? Where is Jatuporn?

Does he let the little piece of turd roam free and gloat or does he show some serious impartiality?? But Suthep didn't rape the countries coffers or blatantly ignore the constitution or let his party and therefore the country be run by a convicted criminal coward with an illegal passport. His demonstrations brought an end to this PTP run fiasco, so no I don't think he will end up in jail for long, unlike the rest of the thieves and law breakers. 2

Get over it ...she is gone, if she does turn up, her life is not under threat.....if the army were going to shoot anyone, it would have been Jabba the Hut to stop him opening his big mouth and I think they have him already... Your darling of "democracy" dear Yingie is not in any danger from the Military.. 2
belg Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 can they summon thaksin to come home and become the new PM ? loooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Rob8891 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Has Oak been taken in already? I don't recall seeing anything mentioned about him. devaram Jatuporn is already detained, after yesterday's meeting.
Mister Fixit Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Just think - if they stupid Shiniwatra clan had actually proposed a moderate rice policy, and NOT tried to get an amnesty for Thaksin - PTP would still be in power and none of this would have happened. I bet there are a lot of folks saying. WT F did we do? We had it all! Morons. They are not really a clan. There is only one man at the centre of the web and that is Thaksin. The family members are just pawns to be moved around. As for having it all and screwing up, Thaksin has been behaving like this for nearly 10 years so the pattern is familiar. Having it all and screwing it up is a Thai trait par excellence. Various things have been said to describe this - 'shooting themselves in the foot', 'having a self-destruct button', 'plain lack of common sense', 'being incapable of NOT biting the hands that feeds you' etc etc. Whatever it is, it is rife throughout Thailand - people get something good and through this weird and commonplace trait, screw it up sooner or later. It's a complete inability to learn from experience, in my view, and that has cultural and mental health connotations.
Popular Post Prbkk Posted May 23, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2014 The tedious and tiresome " Thaksin is the root of all evil" mantra continues unabated.. Stranger still, many posters on here, supposedly western educated and intelligent, believe this version of events and will no doubt point to the fact that The Nation said that was what happened, coupled with their belief that the abhisit administration never lied........................
