Sophon Cable TV Off Air ?

Featured Replies

Just recently saw all channels on my TV go off air one by one.

So on top of the curfew we now have to stay in and have no media coverage.

Hope the internet isn't next!

All Thai language channels are "off air" (exactly: only show announcements from the military government) since yesterday evening.

What channels have gone down just recently?

BBC World says: probably not to be seen in Thailand.

Still available for those (households, hotels) which receive it directly from the satellite (which is not Thai controlled).

Internet totally off? Unlikely, but FB and other "social media" are threatended to be blocked.

This morning at around 11am all the channels have been blocked on my Sophon signal.

Last night it was just the Thai national channels, but now it's the whole lot.

In my condo I have True Visions through satellite on the roof, that has been off since around 8pm last night, Thai news type thing on all channels

Wouldn't be surprised of they block internet next, lets hope not?

OK, that was what I expected.

Good that internet is still up and running.

Have an IPTV service and still works well (BBC World incl.).
