Popular Post ScotBkk
Dear all, In between ALL the controversy relating to out-in” visa runs and the recent Coup. It seems to me that the Thaivisa expat hardliners, seem to have taken on some kind of (holier than thou) approach on resident Farangs. Especially, those who dare voice any credible opinion, having no compassion or consideration no matter what their views or thoughts are. By no means, am I referring to all and sundry in the higher echelons of Thaivisa blog control although’ some have become somewhat adrift from reality. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. With ALL due respect, the Thai situation is not our concern, since we are basically aliens and by far, from the feedback or should say backlash from some ‘petulant people with toxic views, don’t wish to reference them in any shape form or fashion as intelligent life forms. Also, would like to mention. I’m not trying to act as the devil’s advocate for us poor frowned upon members, however it needs be said’ I believe some of these individuals should loosen up and not be so hasty with scathing and vile retorts or act so quickly to pounce upon anyone as if their life depended on it. There is much more to life than just responding to blogs, thus trying to impress these virtual avid readers on how they themselves personally think or having the absolute given right’ to denounce anyone. This, because they’ve spent a lot of their spare time replying to topics. One doesn’t gain any brownie points in the real world with such innuendo nor does it install fear in one’s daily grind for survival. I strongly suspect no blog controllers are paid for these duties therefore done on some voluntary basis. Things over time have changed.Years ago, I found these blogs somewhat amusing. Nevertheless, now it seems to me that there are far too many people who think they’re immensely superior to others. They somehow have increased their use of inane bragging rights, this depending on the number of posts or however the system works for them to gain their promotional status. It beggars belief that any person or persons living in this day and age of computer-generated literature, can’t even enjoy one another’s stories and offer a helping hand other than have scorn poured on anyone they think inferior or try to undermine their role-play. I don’t want to hamper on about this although think it’s time everyone came to terms with this topic. It would definitely benefit any new visitors, particularly if we all went out our way to assist a fellow citizen in distress albeit in a friendlier manner. Freedom of speech.I’m now awaiting my repercussions and criticism for daring to stand out of line of the usual 'let’s say’ subservient attitude members, who’ve shown once attacked’ stand timidly quiet amongst the rest of the sheep for speaking their mind. Anyway, said my piece and thank you for listening. This post has been written with neither prejudice nor malice intended. Popular Post Pralaad
Forgive my ignorance and holier than thou approach, but why on earth would you think you would be entitled to live in a foreign country without a visa? and use all loopholes possible to avoid a fee for visa? Can understand those for short few months to 1 year holiday, but there is absolutely no excuse for those living in Thailand full time Yes it was a cosy loophole that now has been closed, and you want me to feel compassion for you? I pay for my visa yearly and i jump through all the hoops, why should not you?

Popular Post Jay1
I remember chatting with a guy who I had the misfortune to work with..He had been in Thailand for years and years. Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand It amazes me how people deflect from the original post and casually drift into other outer spheres. Invariably it predisposes one’s basic understanding of why we even bother to try to get any intelligent answers to what seems to me a pretty informative blog which nobody as yet seems to have grasped the main reason for me questioning peoples in depth values towards others, thus for these entities who submit different topics. But now clearly realise, it just takes one drifter for the rest to follow his due course to utter some strange rants that have nothing to do with the real discussion. If you don’t understand my topic (and don't have a clue) please don’t even bother to make any hideous replies!!! Incidentally, what has Scotland's independence got to do with it?

I have had "English teachers" act all "superior" to me and even instructed me into how to be Thaier than Thai, thinking I was a tourist, but much hilarity was had when I enquired how long they had been in Thailand and they said 12 months and when they enquired as when I had arrived to commence my time as a two week millionaire in Thailand, I said 12 years ago, I work here for a MNC, and please go away you spotty little git... You have managed to demonstrate to all TV members of how a pompous <deleted> handles himself. Oh, and this is a forum and not a blog.
