Areas around there seem nice. Not sure I would want to live in town directly - is there anywhere in town / market area to live. Most housing estates are near the main highways not too far away

Will you be working in the area or just chilling? I ask cause if you work near Rayong etc that's a crappy drive from Satthip - stops and starts.

    Move to the Ban Chang area then, not far away from Sattahip and quite s few farangs about

    Ban Chang is only about 7 k's down the road (towards Rayong). Decent little strip to meet a few foreigners.

    Might not want to take the missus into some of the bars though...........wink.png

    The town is surrounded by the Thai Navy and Army and Marine corps. I'd say 100,000 single young Thai men live in or very close to the area.
