Need your help, since I try to call the airport and get difficulties to get through to Re-Entry Permit Counter. bangkok international airport

Is the Re-entry permit counter open 24 hours ? as i just worried, since i will flight around 11.30 pm and i would like to apply my re-entry permit quite late after i do check in.

Ask for Immigration Departure hall, terminal 1. They are open 24 hrs.

There was a quote, on another thread, from an Immigration official who said that Travellers should not rely on the Re-entry facility at the Airport.

If you decide to rely on obtaining your Re-Entry Permit at the Airport

please do report back here - your experiences.

In the last few years I have used the Re-entry facilities at the airport on several occasions. It takes between 30 - 45 minutes to get the re-entry stamp. At this "immigration box" all the officers are very kind. Just last month I was coming very late and afraid to miss the flight. They issued my re-entry in less than 15 minutes. A very good service indeed.
