did call the vet who was a good help,he gave me some tabs and told me to cut down on the meat.

as he has been eating chicken for 3yrs.with never a problem I started to check every bit of food and treets I was giving him, then our neighbours dog who has his dinner every day with us started to pass the same slimey stool.

after checking their food I soon found the problem,it was the last batch of chicken[6kilo's] of leg/thigh] which was very fatty and the skin was causing the problem.since 2days now removing the skin both are back to normal.

Thanks for the follow up post.

Always good to have information in case of problems in the future.

Not sure about checking the doggie stool, she goes off and does it in private on some waste ground, not going chasing after her just in case she has a problem w00t.gif
