Bkk To Hkg To Hkt - Which Airline(s) Is Most Economical?

Featured Replies

I wanted to book a flight from France, to BKK to Hong Kong, stay for a few nights in Hong Kong, then fly to Phuket, and then back to Europe. Can anyone suggest which airline is best? Thanks!

France-BKK-HKG-HKT-France will be a very expensive ticket due to the routing (unless you are ID staff of course).

I think your best option would be to find a flight France-HKG with a carrier that will allow you a stop in BKK (i.e. France-BKK-HKG return), then arrange a BKK-HKT return yourself (they're cheap).

Obvious choices would be AF and TQ but you might also find other carriers in the area stopping in BKK offering a choice, for example CI France-BKK-TPE-HKG. Years ago I got a similar ticket with PR FRA-BKK-MNL-HKG - but I don't think they fly to Europe anymore.

Any good travel agent should be able to find the best price/route for you :o

you can do it by flying GULF AIR. they fly from Paris to Hongkong and stop at BKK. as far as I know, the stopover is free. and as far as I know, they have a codeshare with THAI for the HKT-BKK sector. so u could have an open-jaw Paris - HKG and HKT-Paris. the only thing is, you would have to book an extra oneway for the HKG-HKT sector. not sure if Orient Thai still flyes HKG-HKT these days, if so, that would for sure be the cheapest (though most adventurous :o). book a one way with Jetstarasia HKG-SIN-HKT is another option, and gives u the chance to stop at SIN for free...

Emirates could be another option for you. Their own website is often quite cheap, i found cheaper deals there when i flew from Bangkok - Hong Kong than i could get in the Thai travel agents i called.

China Air???? :o
