Ed visas for young children at Phuket immigration

Featured Replies

What is the youngest age that you have been able to get an Ed Visa 1 year extension at Phuket Immigration? It seems some websites say 12 years old but there have been some forum posts here indicating that primary school children are also able to get Ed visas. I want to know if I can get them for my 2 and 4 year old.

I'm moving this to the visa forum for a better response.

With a link here in the Phuket Forum for local input.

I cannot answer for any particular office.

According the rules there is no minimum age. But the school must qualify for the child to get the extension. That is where the age could be a factor.

See clauses 2.8 and 2.9 of Thai Police Order 777/2551

For you it is clause 2.11 (5).
