Last year I converted a tourist visa to my first retirement Visa on 14 July 2013, and received an extension of stay until 13 October 2014.( 15 months )

My next day to report is 20 September and if on the same day i submit an application for a further 12 month extension of stay will this be enough time ?

I already have the 800,000 baht sitting in the bank account so if I lodge an application on 20 September will it be okay for the letter from the bank confirming my bank balance to be dated 19 September?

The policy on whether the letter from the bank confirming your 800K baht deposit is acceptable when dated the day before you make the application depends on the immigration office, but should be fine, as long as your bank book is updated on the same day you make the application.

I know for a fact that a bank letter dated the day before is acceptable at the immigration office in Bangkok ( Chaengwattana), for example.

The application for a further extension of permission to stay can be made any time during the 30 days before your current permission to stay expires, so the 20th September is fine to make the application, if you are permitted to stay until 13th October.
