MrMuddle
Anyone know where I can get some oven proof dishes in Phetchabun ? Pyrex or similar quality. Thanks.
meatboy
I have bought 3 the past month but not one of them has it stamped as oven proof or microwave safe. I have seen pyrex I think it was makro but you need a mortgage. I did see in yesterday's paper that zebra shop has a sale of a set of 3 casserole steel pans with lids 26,28,30cms. but with most of them so called steel pans they are so light. wayned
I have a clear glass made by ARCUSINE in France and a white glass,NO NAME, that work fine in the oven. I bougt both in Big C.
MrMuddle
Thanks for the replies we had a look in Makro and Tesco and couldn't see anything, will try Big C and then try to find the Zebra Shop.I want them for making rice pudding primarily, (if I can find short grain rice anywhere), though I'm sure I'll find other uses.I'm new to cooking, can you tell ? CharlieH
I'll try to give directions to a shop that sells just kitchen things. If you turn into the town at the lights/crossroads by the Police box, go straight down to the next lights znd SCB bank is on the corner, turn right and about 50 metrs on your right is the kitchen shop. Hope this helps, if not, there is another kitchen supplier over near Meungphet hospital that specialuses in catering supplies.

puchooay
Have a look at Verasu on the internet. They have an abundance of kitchen ware. Their service is great too. You can order and pay by card online. Delivery to your door in about 3 days. I have ordered quite a few things from them and have never had any problems.
