Mitsubishi water pump pressure switch

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me where in Pattaya i can buy or order a pressure switch for my

Mitsubishi water pump?

There is no Mitsubishi Electric service centre here in Pattaya.

I've already tried Numchai Service centre but they are quoting me 1800bt to order one,

that seems a little excessive considering some previous posts i've read on this forum saying

they cost about 6-700bt.

Thanks.

Try one of the independent hardware supply stores...Santi across from Foodland or as you're familiar with Numchai, there's the large plumbing supply store just on the left as you enter SSCC from Sukhumvit.

I second the plumbing shops in commercial shophouses that (here's the clue) have Mitsubishi water pumps on display. If you can't bring the dud switch, make a note of the pump model, take a picture of the bit you want and go get it.

Update:

Went to Santi as mentioned by OMG, they had switches in stock, but not original

Mitsubishi, also not the correct pressure rating as my pump. So no joy there.

Luckily, as i was leaving this shop i noticed another shop 2 doors up called

Sahawat Pattaya, they also have a large selection of water pumps on display.

They did have the pressure switch in stock and original Mitsubishi too, after explaining

the symptoms of my faulty pump, the lady manager/owner was very helpful and suggested

that the problem may not be the pressure switch but the flow switch instead.

Although they only had the pressure switch in stock, she offered for me to buy the PSw

and try it, if the problem isn't fixed to bring it back and she would order a flow switch and

refund me the money on the first item, which i did.

After trying the new PSw, it didn't fix the problem, so i went back and they ordered an original

flow sw which arrived today, i replaced it and now the pump is working fine again.

So i would fully recommend this shop called Sahawat Pattaya opposite Foodland on

Pattaya Klang if you need spare parts for your water pumps.

WOW!!

You got knowledgeable service and a result!

That has to be a win, congratulations.
