Marriage visa money on saving account

Hi guys. I don't post much on forum but I read often.

Question is, Is money on saving account fine for marriage visa if I put for saving 1 or more years or I need normal account?

I ask because I want that money to generate some income while it sits in bank.

You can put the 400k in a fixed term account. It has to be the type that allows you to withdraw funds at any time without any penalty other than loss of interest.
