I've done this before and it was painless, but with the new policies I just want to check to see if I will have a problem.

I'm half way through my 2bl entry tourist visa, and so it's time to make the old visa run to Mae Sai. I gather this may be the last time I do this on a tourist visa, but for now, since I already have one, I'm hoping it's OK.

Anyone do this lately, or know someone who has?

Have you done a 30 day extension at immigration yet. You could do that and then do a border run to start the next entry as long as your visa is still valid.

A the moment their have been no reports of anybody having a problem when using a tourist visa for entry at Mae Sai.
