Sorry if you want one.

It's only in one location in ... you guessed it ... SAN FRANCISCO.

On a non-gay note, a recent survey indicated the least liked fast food burger in the USA is McDonalds.bah.gifThey're NOT LOVIN' it!

On a less heart warming note, imagine if Burger King served a PROUD WHOPPER at a location in Moscow. They would be subject to ARREST for gay propaganda.

Also in fairness, it doesn't take big cajones to do this in San Francisco during Pride time. Why not a NATIONAL release during Gay Pride month?

Citation? Reference?

Frankly, I saw a news report about this quite recently, but I don't recall the source, couldn't find it quickly on google, so in this case you'll just have to take MY WORD on my recollection about this. Or not. Up2U.

That's a big decision and an important choice in my life.

That's a big decision and an important choice in my life.

Not entirely certain if this is the SAME report about American's lowest opinion of McD's burgers that I had recalled, but the result tells the same story:

The titans of American fast food are in for a supersized reality check. KFC, Taco Bell and McDonald’s were slammed as the worst in their categories—chicken sandwich, burrito and burger, respectively—according to the latest exhaustive survey of American fast-food chains conducted by Consumer Reports.

I'm not surprised about McDonald's (I don't know much about the other categories).

You are mistaken if you think that McDonald's sell burgers. They would have been bankrupt a long time ago if that were their product. They sell an experience, they sell lifestyle. That's what they mean when they say "I'm loving it" - "it" is not the burger but the experience. They also particularly target young children (who get Dopamin from all the fat in the food) with the clown Ronald McDonald doing tricks in the "restaurant", or special kids' birthday parties, so that the kids come back all the time during their whole lives, only remembering that they were happy ("loving it") when they were kids.

And that works. Maybe we should move this to the Marketing forum, though.
