Accident Thai Navy Rescues Five After Engine Failure at Sea

Five people have been rescued safely after their longtail boat suffered engine failure while transporting goods to Phi Phi Island, prompting a coordinated emergency response from the Thai maritime authorities. At around 16:00 on July 20, the Operations Centre of the Third Naval Area Command’s Maritime Enforcement Command Centre (Thai-MECC Region 3) received a distress call from Mr Nu, the boat skipper, reporting that their longtail fishing boat had broken down at sea. The vessel was located approximately 6.1 nautical miles southeast (bearing 103°) of the Third Naval Area Command pier at coordinates 07°46.6’N, 098°30.35’E. The boat was carrying five people, the skipper and four crew members, none of whom had life jackets on board, in worsening sea conditions. Vice Admiral Suwat Donsakul, Commander of the Third Naval Area and Director of Thai-MECC Region 3, immediately dispatched Patrol Boat Tor. 272 to carry out the rescue operation. By 18:14, four of the five individuals had been safely brought aboard the Marine Department vessel 601. The skipper remained on the disabled vessel awaiting towing assistance, as towing a longtail boat with larger vessels like Tor. 272 or Marine Department 601 could risk damage or sinking due to the size mismatch. A local fishing boat later arrived to tow the stranded vessel safely back to shore. Authorities confirmed that all five individuals are now safe and back on land. The swift response by the Royal Thai Navy and local support vessels prevented what could have become a tragic situation. Adapted by Asean Now from Amarin 2025-07-22 -

Noodles and psoriasis.
I only occasionally eat them myself, preferring to buy Japanese noodles and adding some spices. I also use 1/2 a packet and no oil with the mama. The gut can take up to two years to get back to normal after H Pylori treatment of some other antibiotic use so don't feel bad.
