Samui is or was the "Coconut Island" Now it's the Island people try to avoid. The developers are also eating the coco-trees, by op-rooting them for more houses, that they charge a fortune for. I see Samui as a Pattaya in less than 5 years. Maybe it's not beetles, just a cover-up so people won't make waves. Too bad, since it once was a paradise- Want to by a beach-bar cheap??????

Well, this is extremely old news, that is if your point was about coconut beetles.

Not sure what the point is to this wind up tho.
