Living in a cartoon Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Not the time for a description of what you would like justice to look like. Now is the time for grief. I would humbly suggest that we all refrain from expressions of anger for the time being. Many people will grieve over this loss, even those of us that never knew her. 1
harrry Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Sad......I would not like to know what his future lives will be like..........they will hopefully be even worse than the rest of this one for him.
jaltsc Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 "He was flown to Pranburi Tuesday morning to reenact the crime amid protection by a hundred of police for fear of being mobbed and assaulted by angry residents" I am sure a hundred police have something better to do than to protect this piece of scum. 2
Just1Voice Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 As I said in another post, life in prison with the words: "Child Rapist & Murderer" tattooed across his forehead and back for all to see.
cardinalblue Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 The bigger issue is the lack of checks and balances of workers behaviors... My guess drinking and doping is very common for low level service workers in both public and private transportation sector... Does the public realize how at risk they are as soon as they leave their house? Another lack of accountability by gov officials politicians police and private sector management... Oh General sir, another problem on your list... CB
ChrisY1 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Totally speechless almost......such a horrific and sad way for this poor little girl....so sad and such a terrible waste...my heart goes out to the parents and her friends. And there are some that believe that drugs should be legalised.....this is a reason they are not......Yaba sends people insane! 1
Popular Post seajae Posted July 8, 2014 Popular Post Posted July 8, 2014 very similar to the way my 14 y/o daughter was killed in Australia, should squash the bastards d*ck in a vice and chain it up inside a wooden shed, place a very blunt knife next to him then set fire to the shed. lemonjelly Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 this is areadful situation that a young girl who was it seems raped and murdered by a drug taking alcohol drinker who should in trurth never have been employed . The lax attitude of the management that allows alcohol to be consumed by employees at work is indeed shameful as is the lack of any character background check on employees of the S.R.T. and no doubt other organisations too who come into contact with the traveling public in very personal situations. Trust was expected and trust became lust and murder. May the poor child find peace and also her family may they be able to overcome their grief. indeed a fatal mishap of perhaps falling under a train at the crime re-enactment scene might well be a poetic piece of justice for the murdering rapist. Totally agree with the railway staff drinking booze on the train comments....... i hate sitting in the restaurant car at night when the railway police and SRT staff use it as their personal bar to get drunk in..... it can be quite intimidating sometimes.
Luk Mhee Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 “RAPE” should be a capital offence and should carry the death sentence or castration whether committed by adults or by the adolescence in schools or universities on females or males. “RAPE” scars the victim for life. An adolescence rapist should be castrated to prevent a recurrence of this unforgivable crime, an adult rapist, if found guilty, deserves no mercy. Unfortunately due to the inability of our past administration to curb violence and to implement the law on the masses we live amongst a sick and undisciplined society with little or no morals. However with our new administration one can clearly see a change in the system, just look at abrupt change in the attitudes of our public personnel, as well as law enforcement, the speed at which problems are sorted out, and perpetrators are apprehended is almost unbelievable.

webfact Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 CRIMEMissing teen raped then thrown from trainThe suspect, Wanchai (dark blue shirt) is escorted by police.BANGKOK: -- The body of a 13-year-old girl who went missing during a train journey between Surat Thani and Bangkok was found near the railway track in Prachuab Khiri Khan's Pranburi district early on Tuesday morning.Police have arrested a sleeping car attendant for allegedly assaulting and raping her before throwing her from the train. Her family reported her missing to Noppawong police in Bangkok on Sunday after she disappeared from the secondclass compartment of a train during Saturday night. The girl, who has been identified only as Kaem, was travelling with her elder sister, younger brother and her sister's boyfriend. This was her first train ride. Her sister told police that she last saw her sister before going to bed. Kaem was sleeping in a lower bunk."We took the train back to our home in Nonthaburi," said her sister, adding that she fell asleep around 2am on Sunday and first noticed Kaem was missing when she woke at 4.30am.She said she searched the train for Kaem before alighting at Bang Sue Train Station and reaching Noppawong Police Station at around 6.30am.When she could not find Kaem in the morning, she alerted the train staff and searched the train but to no avail.Police identified the suspect as Wanchai Sangkhao, 22, a bed attendant employed by a company with a concession from the State Railway of Thailand. After several hours of interrogation, he confessed to police to being drunk when he sneaked into Kaem's lower bunk and raped her. He then threw her from the window. No one appeared to have noticed or heard the assault because the bunk was curtained and the sound of the train running on the track was loud.Source: http://www.nationmultimedia.com/national/Missing-teen-raped-then-thrown-from-train-30238008.html-- The Nation 2014-07-08
YipYipYa123 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Lucky it was not my daughter and lucky I did not witness it. You would be reading about me on TVF the next day otherwise. No need for that. Simply hire a sniper to take the guy out at the re-enactment. No muss no fuss, and your wife would still have a husband... That is what I would have done. too painless for my liking id prefer him ripped apart by an angry mob in thailand the judges may only give a token sentence if a family member killed him anyway ive seen 30 days imposed for crimes like this b4 just because the judsge had to give something to a husband who killed his wife when he came back and she was screwing someone else in the marital bed this is a lot worse than that ............

klauskunkel Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 This creature has chosen on its own to give up its humanity. It is therefore not human anymore and any considerations designed for humans do not apply to this thing...kill it.
realenglish1 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 So sad but is life is over. Once convicted and placed in prison the others will brutalize him and I hope they do not kill him I want him brutalized for the rest of his life This is till to good for him So sad little girl RIP
catweazle Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) There are crimes where the public and/or the parents of the victims should agree on the sentence and be allowed to apply the agreed on punishment as soon as the "reenactment" part has been completed. RIP to the little girl and sincerest condolences to her family and friends. Edited July 8, 2014 by catweazle
epicstuff Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 One of the worst stories to come out lately . So sick. So sad and another case against this evil meth drug. The world has a serious problem with this stuff, Asia in particular . I plead with authorities to lessen the penalty for less harmful drugs , and make them more available, whilst tightening up on this one . Cant stop people finding their escape through one drug or another, least you could do is minimize the dangers to everyone else by encourage a socially friendlier substance for them to enjoy...

Consensual does not apply in this case as she was underage although I understand what you are saying in regards to rape cases in general & it seems more so than other countries where the victim does not receive much sympathy in this male dominant society. One can see all over the place how spoiled boy children are & so they grow into adulthood believing that can have anything they want. I do not understand why people are saying the death sentence should apply in this case. Well surely it does as murder is a capital offence although as he has confessed all he has to do is show remorse & the judge will commute death sentence to life.

Even as an adult, she still means everything to me. There's a special love between father and daughter, and I feel for you and Nong Gaem's father and every other father who's lost a child. 1

Throw the worthless guy in front of the judge to get his sentence and let the hundred police officers do some actual police work instead.
Monkeyrobot Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Rip I also feel sorry for her sister that was on the train and was in a different sleeper not knowing what was happening to her little sister. A very sad sad story.

Do you really think there is a possibility this poor young victim consented? To being raped twice (wife says Thai news report he raped her twice), being murdered and thrown from a moving train? This evil piece of excrement has admitted it. In different circumstances then yes, it could be down to which person is believed and the punishment should reflect that, But in cases of extreme depravity like this, where the guy admits it - then the severity of the punishment should reflect that.
Berkshire Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Evil. Just pure evil. Very sad for the girl and her family. Damn.

webfact Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 UPDATE:Girl's Deadly Rape Latest Scandal to Hit Thai RailwayBy Khaosod EnglishRape and murder suspect Wanchai Saengkhao (blue shirt) at the police press conference on 8 July 2014, flanked by police officers and State Railway of Thailand governor Prapat Chongsanguan (white shirt). BANGKOK — It was 13-year-old Fon’s* first and last train ride. She was traveling from Surat Thani province with her two sisters and the boyfriend of her older sister in a sleeping car on train number 174, bound for Bangkok's Hua Lam Phong station on the night of 6 July. There was a brief blackout, solely in her sleeping car, at 1 am, but none of Fon's companions noticed that anything was wrong until the train reached Nakhon Pathom province the next morning. When her older sister went to wake Fon up, she was gone. The bed sheet from Fon's cot was also missing and her bag had been ransacked. The sisters promptly notified the railway staff, who searched every car after the train arrived at Hua Lamphon station, but to no avail.News of a missing 13-year-old girl was quickly picked up by TV channels and newspapers, while a campaign to search for Fon was launched on social media. This morning, Fon's body was found in a bush next to train tracks in Pranburi district, Prachuap Kiri Khan province, by a police search party. An initial police investigation has revealed that she was raped and then thrown off the train."She had never been on the train before," one of Fon's relatives said tearfully shortly after her body was found. "She asked us to take her because she wanted to have her first ride on train."Rail employee arrestedShortly after the train arrived at Hua Lamphong station, railway officials detained a member of the train’s cleaning staff who raised suspicions after nail scratches and other wounds were found on his back.Wanchai Saengkhao initially claimed that he got the scratches from lifting cargo off the train, but police decided to detain him for interrogation.Mr. Wanchai confessed this morning that he abducted Fon from her bed while her companions were asleep, raped her, and threw her overboard along with the bedsheet to hide the evidence, police say.It appears that Mr. Wanchai planned the rape in advance. According to Fon’s sister, Mr. Wanchai was caught staring at Fon when she was on the train and once approached her bed, claiming that he had left his hat behind in the sleeping car.An autopsy report of Fon's body, released by Pranburi Hospital today, indicated that the girl suffered an impact wound on the back of her skull and bruises on some parts of her body.Pol.Maj.Gen. Thanet Sunthornsuk, a police commander in Prachuap Kiri Khan, said it is not immediately clear whether Fon was still alive when she was thrown overboard.Mr. Wanchai has been charged with attempted murder and rape. He remains under police custody.Long train of scandalsThe rape and murder of Fon has further sullied the reputation of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), which has been embroiled in scandals for decades. The company's diesel-run trains are notorious for their poor maintenance and squalid conditions. Delays as much as one hour are common, while incidents of derailed trains happened so frequently that the media has lost count. Now the public is questioning the SRT's ability to recruit staff and screen employees' criminal backgrounds.Prapat Chongsanguan, governor of the SRT, insisted that the company has a rigorous safety standard regarding its employees. He said Mr. Wanchai was a temporary staff hired to clean the trains, not a permanent employee.Nevertheless, Mr. Prapat vowed to set up committees to investigate the incident and the railway officials who were on the train when the rape and murder occured."We will investigate and take disciplinary actions against the officials who neglected in their duties and allowed this incident to happen," Mr. Prapat said today. "We will also convene meetings to prevent such incident in the future."*Her name has been changed to protect the privacy of her family.Source: http://en.khaosod.co.th/detail.php?newsid=1404814570 -- Khaosod English 2014-07-08
LuckyLew Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Does Thailand have the death penalty? I am okay with them getting a few dogs that have not eaten for a few weeks to have a go at this beast, like in North Korea RIP to the young girl who has left far too soon 1
