N Korea fires 'short-range missiles'

SEOUL: -- North Korea has fired two suspected short-range missiles into the sea, South Korea says, in what is apparently latest in a series of recent tests.

The projectiles were launched from a western province into the Sea of Japan, a spokesman for the joint chiefs of staff in Seoul was quoted as saying.

The move follows a recent visit by the Chinese president to South Korea, with whom the North is technically at war.

North Korea is believed to have carried out similar tests in June and July.

'Snub by Beijing'

"North Korea fired two short-range missiles presumed to be Scud-type ones... from a site in Hwanghae province in a north-easterly direction", South Korean spokesman Um Hyo-sik was quoted as saying by Yonhap news agency.

Pathetic to know that a small elite of total Morons is so capable of brainwashing & brutally suppressing an entire population. Surely, the free men of this world must eventually take some serious action against this very dangerous elite ? ! ? !

I feel so bad for all those poor paupers who can barely feed themselves, being "governed" by these absolute evil criminals who languish in luxury themselves ! ! ! ! ! !

Who's going to take that important first step ?

I pity the marine life around North Korea. They are constantly being at war zone. No peaceful waters for them.:(

Is it already August in North Korea? Time flies.

Now if they were to fire short and fat into the sea......................

But I suppose the generals need him to keep up the pretense that the place isn't a military dictatorship.

This guy is a spokesman for Kim Jong Un, apparently. He seems to make as much sense as the fat little man, maybe this is their POV ?

Kind of like China and their mass poor that live in shanties in the shadows of vacant luxury high rise condos, Russia where the average Russian lives the life of a pauper in the US while those in power extort money from commoners with small businesses trying to feed their families and etc.

I agree though, but it seems repressive countries generate citizens that become complacent with or accepting of repressive practices.
