The process is simple and straightforward, and is quite a bit cheaper. It's not legal if (as I suspect) it's a scheme where it is made to APPEAR as if you've had a Thai bank account over 800K baht for two months prior to application for retirement extension. So why not ask for more details of the service they offer? If it's only for the hand holding, you would be paying too much, as most people can handle everything without any paid help at all.
