Non Immigrant based on supporting Thai born son

Can anyone please advise what financial proff I need when applying for a visa based not on marrige but supporting my son.

That deoends on the consulate where you apply.

Normally you would only get a single non-O visa, and normally financial proof would not be needed for a single.

Are you married to the mother, or have you legalized your child.

Are you the legal father of you child by way of legitimization?

With just you name on the birth certificate all you can get is a single entry non-o visa from a nearby embassy or consulate or a 60 day extension of stay to visit your child at immigration.

I am not married to my sons mother but legitimized through the court that I support him

If legitmised and living with your child you can get yearly extensiosn of stay if you can show an income of 40,000 a month or 400,000 in a bank account in Thailand.
