Yingluck’s lawyer asks the NACC not to rush the case

That is some serious rice sacks, carrying 20 tonnes in each sack? Is that what they said on red shirt radio? It would make sense if they did as not a single red shirt will be able to divide 1.8M tons with 90,000 sacks, so they will all believe it biggrin.png

I have not heard about this story before, but I guess if it is true that there is a case of soldiers stealing some rice, then that automatically negates the other 5000 or so cases of theft and corruption in the rice scam smile.png

"A Staff Judge Advocate on Tuesday brought a private and an army Sergeant to surrender to police for their alleged involvement in the case of 90,000 sacks of rice under the rice-pledging scheme that went missing from a granary in Pathum Thani province.

An inspection team set up by the military junta to inspect rice under pledging scheme inspected the Phoenix Argritech granary in Muang district recently and found that 90,000 sacks of rice had disappeared. A complaint was filed with police."

In the interests of justice, not sure about "guilty" but certainly "responsible".

Personally. I'm going with ... clueless biggrin.png
