Has anyone tried samui on a 30 day or tourist visa

Not sure what you are asking about.

If you are asking about an extension you can apply for a 7 extension for a 30 day visa exempt entry or a 30 day extension for a 60 day tourist visa entry.

Regarding going through Koh Samui with these new immigration rules. Just wondering if anyone has been knocked back from their. As I'm on my second triple entry tourist visa and will be coming through Samui to go to Koh Phangan after six weeks out of Thailand.

The new rules have nothing to do with getting a 30 day extension for a tourist visa entry. You will not have a problem getting it.

You will need a local address to put on the TM7 application form when you do it. A hotel address for Koh Phangan will be accepted.

The OP may not be asking about an extension. Ko Samui has an international airport.

I'm not asking about extensions I'm asking about going through immigration at samui airport with two triple tourist visas in my passport after six weeks out of the country.

Also with a return flight and a hotel booking for the duration of my stay

You should not have a problem entering at Samui airport if your visa is still valid since you have been out of the country for 6 weeks.

I reality their are no rules yet for tourist visa entries. Their are some border crossings that are turning people back that have several exempt entries and a tourist visa.

Thanks ubonjoe that a lot of speculation on this subject at the moment and I bit worried as this will be my last time I Thailand arriving on the 14th August and this is my last stamp

As my company I work for in Malaysia are sending me else and I've been spend time in Koh Phangan on my six weeks leave
