geovalin
Kim Sarom Police in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district took part in a sting targeting illegal computer gaming locations yesterday, arresting seven people and seizing 71 illicit machines across three locations in Phsar ThmeyIII village. Two locations were on different levels of the same building and the other was nearby, said deputy Daun Penh district police chief Nhem Sao Nol. “I do not know if they are game owners or how many just live in these places,” Sao Nol said. “I have to check the police document first.” Police released four or five of the suspects from custody after educating them about playing at the illegal gaming centres, he said. Several women who served as managers at the sites were held for questioning and will be sent to court, he said, adding that they would not face major charges. Police yesterday would not say how they tracked down these particular suspects to their respective homes or businesses. http://www.phnompenhpost.com/national/game-over-raid-illegal-gaming-sites-snares-seven
