UPS at Maya

Featured Replies

Thinking I should pay over the odds to send important documents and expect decent service, I went to UPS at Maya Mall. What a mistake. The staff have not the faintest idea what on Earth is going on. I think I would have been as well flushing the stuff down the bog and crossing my fingers. Complete and utter idiots. And don't bother with the usual TIT pish, this is supposed to be an international company. Anyhoo, avoid in future...

I wasn't happy with the AIS office up there. I think the Daily Queen girls have better English skills. I am happy with AIS, overall, though.

The Thai postal service do international post and parcels, obviously, and there are a couple of post offices who handle a lot of international mail. One is close to Thae Pai Gate, inside the old city. Sorry but I'm not sure of the street. They have a good selection of cardboard boxes for packing documents etc..

Gotta agree with you on this one, it pains me to say.

We ended up with a DTAC smart phone because the AIS honey babes at Maya just kept pointing at the high-priced Samsung smart phones and couldn't answer any questions. Later, when I decided I wanted one of those AIS dongle thingies for on-the-go internet 3G service, Hubby went to their office in Kad Suan Kaew where he reports better comprehension skills among the staff.

Overall, I think Kad Suan Kaew is a better place to buy stuff -- the staff is used to doing more transactions.

I had the option of dhl or fedex I suppose, but saw ups in passing and it's closer. Just a word of note to folk. Don't take your business there.

Sounds like most of the people think UPS is a phone service.

Unless you are desperate and need assurance that it will go through you are stuck with a carrier. I used to send lot's of post cards and found out later not every one had received it. Mind you it was just the regular mail nothing special. A friend of mine has a business where he ships product to North America and uses the mail and says he has never had a package not delivered.
