New reply to LeLeaving Thailand to get a TV in KL after 3 years on retirement visa

Featured Replies

Thanks for all your advice which are the choices I came to. My reason for re-entering after my non imm O expires is to clear up unfinished business. I think the only way for piece of mind is to extend my retirement visa. At CNX imm this morning I was told I could extend my visa for 7 days which I believe could change to 30 days after end Aug - that's also an option.

The new 30 day extension is only for visa exempt entries. You will not be able get one for your current extension of stay based upon retirement (it is not a visa).

If you are from a G7 country you could got to Mae Sai and get a 30 day exempt entry or 15 days if not and then extend it for 30 days after 29 August.
