I also spoke with the building management where I stay, and they said inspectors have already come out, apparently from one of the government departments, to check all the structural pillars in our building. It seems they issued us a clearance certificate as a result. Apparently, they use some sort of laser system to scan the interior integrity of columns, checking for cracks, any leaning, and other structural damage, and thankfully, we don’t have any.
This made me wonder if this is how they are able to inspect so many buildings across the city so quickly without spending thousands of engineering hours manually checking for structural damage. I assume so.
I'm on the annual retirement ext with a multi-reentry visa, I make a trip to Australia for a couple of weeks, 3 days before returning to Thailand I do this TDAC and receive the QR code. Therefore I have notified Thailand that I am entering (returning) on such and such date and will be living at such and such address.
Do I still have to go to immigration within 24 hours to notify them that I've now returned and back at the same address? Or does this TDAC remove the need to do a notification within 24 hours?
Windmills are being dealt with by our great leader - replaced as I understand it by beautiful clean coal!
Personally I am more concerned by the battery powered sharks that are swimming around our cars ...
