I am hoping someone can offer advice and save a trip to immigration.

My original retirement extension expiry date is the 28th August, but my current 90 day expiry is the 17th (effectively the 15th as the 17th is a Sunday).

My problem is that the 800,000 only went into my account on the 21st May, so slightly less than three months on the 17th (or 15th).

So my queries are

a) which date do they go by, 28th or 17th?

b ) does the 5 or 7 day grace period apply to the renewal date or only to the other 3 reporting dates.

c) what is their attitude likely to be to a 4 day discrepancy, possibly it varies fro office to office or even day to day.

I do not fancy the idea of being told on the 15th that I have to be out on the 17th, so may be best going to an agency rather than risk losing the non-imm O and having to start again.

Anyone able to advise please?

28th of august is the date they stamped in your passport, that is the date until when you can stay and before the end of that day you must apply for a new extension.

The 17th is the date you need to report your stay, which is seperate and different from an extension.

You can do your 90 day report up to 7 days after the report date.

You can do your extension and the report on the same date as long as you do it by the 23rd.

Your money will be seasoned on the 22nd of August, a Friday. If you go on that day you will still have a few days left on your current extension and you will be within the 7 day grace period for address reporting.

LOL, don't know how the smiley got there and it is not giving me the edit option either.

The smiley is gone. I fixed it by putting a space between between the b and ). When they are together it is code for a smiley.
