1st class insurance for 4 yr old car.

I've read a few times that cars that are 5 yrs and over cannot get 1st class insurance.

I find it a little bit surprising if true.

I just bought a 4 yr old car, and am looking for 1st or 2nd class insurance. At the moment it only has 3rd class (about 700 p/a).

Car is a 2010 1.1L Kia Picanto automatic.

Is anybody insuring something similar, and if so how much are you paying and what is the name of the company?
