Aftermarket car parts like brake pads, etc. Where in Pattaya?

Featured Replies

I've recently bought an older car and need some NEW spare parts.

Brake pads, "repair set" for the drive shaft (front wheel drive) and some other small parts.

I think, there is/was a parts shop somewhere near "Boys+Sound"/Isuzu Main Dealer on Sukhumvit, but I may be wrong?

However, any concrete suggestions are welcome.

But please avoid any comments like: why not bring your car to somchai's car repair next door...!!

I'am only looking for a decent parts shop, NOT a "mechanic"...!!

thanks

There is a string of auto parts stores on Sukhumvit (west side) just past the Esso gas station at South Pattaya Road. There are 3-4 shophouse stores more or less in a row that sell just about any auto parts one would need. There are several car battery stores after them...think of it as a strung-out auto parts row.

^^

thanks, I guess

Sukhumvit (west side)

means: Sukhumvit direction to Bangkok?

EDIT: ok, found it on Google Maps.

if you search for basic parts like brake pads etc i'd go to a b-quick shop

either you buy the parts from there or let it install it directly there. not to expenssive aswell

they sell bendix brake pads with different grades

B-Quick also stores/sells Aftermarket spare parts?

Wasn't aware of that.

Thought they are some kind of "repair shop"

And I also need something like this

here you go

shows everyting they offer: http://www.b-quik.com/en/p_tyre.php

B-Quik is an auto service center. They may sell a few common replacement parts on the side but they mainly service and install these items themselves. I think the op is looking more for a full service auto parts store...like those on Sukie.

I go to one along there. If you don't speak Thai take the old pART and a photo of the car.

well, at least I got all my parts from this shop here
They even had the "drive shaft repair kit" in stock

This is an absolute must here in Thailand and valid for almost everything you want, not only car parts...tongue.png

Even the locals bring their old parts to the shop, for a comparison.

Reminds me of the "good old times" in Germany, where the old parts were enough for the dealer.

But nowadays, you need two, three different numbers, exact month/year of build and whatever else from your vehicle documents.

Otherwise...no chance to get even basic parts like brake pads.
