Non immigrant visa for Non Thai wife

Featured Replies

Hello

I am new to this forum so pardon if I commit a faux paux here..

I had a doubt about the documents,

I arrived to bangkok on May 12 and got the spousal visa for three months so it is expiring on the 11th August.

Could someone list out all the documents that would be required when we go to the immigration office.

Just so that there are no hassles. something we should be careful about and the first time was a Single Entry Visa.

Is there a specific procedure for Multiple Entry Visa?

MuchThanks.

For a multiple-entry non-O visa you have to go to a Thai consulate.

For a one-year extension of Thai of your current permission to stay you should go with your wife to your local immigration office any time during the last 30 days of your permission to stay. If you arrived on 12 MAY 2014, your permission to stay should expire on 08 AUG 2014. Look at the arrival stamp in your passport for confirmation. Not all immigration offices use exactly the same requirements, so it is best to check with your immigration office as soon as possible.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Hi,

Thanks for the reply,

well i am the wife, :)

I was wondering if there is a basic list of documents or a particular number of photographs needed.

I did my background research on the same site ofcourse, and there was a ton of information - quite helpful but it confused me too.

Need to note.. He appears to be asking how to gain an extension for his non Thai wife.. I think the above advise is fitting for a non Thai extending for being married to a Thai.
