July 24, 201412 yr Downloaded a propriety app through a MDM thingy (not via app store )...... and saw these things called certificates. reading the cert i was quite shocked, it saw MDM has the right to ie delete all my data, or see my list of apps. I check with their IT, and said " no, can only add or delete the app from their end", but i am not so sure.

It's normally deployed by a corporation that issues multitudes of phones to its workforce and contractors (read Family or on-call-prostitutes) where they need to be able to manipulate the phone, or group of phones, remotely.

Yep - new to it It's a vendor app for logistics - keep track of shipping progress. Just wondering who is tracking who now.
