I've got a 3 months single non-o visa, can i have it extended?

Featured Replies

Before i came into thailand, I got a 3 months single non-o visa from thai embassy in my country

But wonder if there is a problem on having it extended for 1 year

Can it be extended regardless of the type of visa(single or multiple)?

If it can't be, that would be so horrible. I didn't expect that could make a difference.

Or please let me know if there is way for me to change the type into multiple.

Thank you for advance.

If you have a reason for extending it you can get one. On what basis did you get the non-o.

Marriage to a Thai or being the legal father of a Thai, Retirement, Working if you have a work permit and etc.

Thank you :D

If no reason you will get 7 days

<script type='text/javascript'>window.mod_pagespeed_start = Number(new Date());</script>

Thank you biggrin.png

He means if you have one of the listed reasons "Marriage to a Thai or being the legal father of a Thai, Retirement, Working if you have a work permit" that would acceptable to Immigrations, and that you meet the minimum requirements for the appropriate extension ... and is asking you on what basis would you expect to get an extension.

"Having a reason" does not include things like you just want to stay here.
