Eastern Seaboard (amata City) List Of Companies/contacts

The Mercy centre, which is a last resort for Pattaya's most desperate street kids, is trying to get together a list of names and companies based in the Amata City Industrial area, so that they may be solicited for financial help. The companies are mainly international combines who would normally have a budget for helping the local community.

I have found the Amata City web site with a list of the companies, but no names, phone numbers or addresses.

Does anyone out there have any connection with the Amata organisition? Or maybe does someone know of a local trade organisation who may be able to help?

Mercy is desperate for funds, just to feed the kids in their care, and pay for urgent medical treatment for abandoned babies - to say nothing of the funds required to buy their current premises before their lease expires.

For those who may be interested, I can do no better than refer you to this link, which highlights the problems Mercy faced in a single week in June.

I have a copy and live in the center of Pattaya. If you want to come over to my apt block with a pen and paper and save yourself 1800 baht you're welcome to. PM me.

Thanks for the offer. Someone has very kindly emailed me a pretty comprehensive list of companies in the various industrial estaes, so it looks like I'm Ok for the moment.

Thanks for telling me that the info is obtainable in a published book, for future reference.

I still may take you up on your offer some time in the future if I need more details that are not contained in the emailed lists. I will PM you if that need arises. Hope that's OK?

Yep, Thai food is available...

I almost bought the CD version of the factory book, but at 4300 Baht it was a bit to expensive for exactly the same content

At the end of the book they put all the companies together per industrial estate, so it should be pretty easy to assemble what we need...
