Canadian, exempt entry, at the border, poipet (not air) 30 days or 15 days

Featured Replies

Seen conflicting information, including us government website which seems to say it is only 15 days for a land crossing.

Also read that canada, like the us and other g7 countries means the entry will be for 30 days instead of 15.

Does anyone have any experience or information? Is it at the discretion of the border agent? Do some officers do one way and others have a different set of misinformation from their superiors and do the other way?

Thank you

Why didn't you post your question in your other topic Is there a limit of one exempt entry (not back to back)

You will get a 30 day entry at a border crossing.
