But I was wondering why would an individual want to sponsor a government program instead of marriage. You can help a poor Isaan gal with 500k and I am sure she will let you stay married for 5 years minimum. U can draw a contract for 5 years. I would like to help those sexy Isaan gals. Im not sure my wealthy Thai wife would like me helping out a poor Issan girl. I know two people in BKK that have applied in the last few days. They tell me they have had a huge increase in appications over the last month mainly down to these threads on Thai Visa. And yours in particular so they have asked me to pass on there thanks to you personally for raising awareness of this fantastic Thailand Elite product. You never know you may get a discount when you apply as a thank you you valueble conribution to the programme. Luck you. Chinese, Arabic language forums), the ones referred by fellow members, the ones who came across the Thailand Elite website, the ones who met members from the Facebook page, the ones that got to know the program through their embassy... That makes a lot of members Thaivisa is not the center of the world you know? I wait a bit (for still more members ) and I will organize a big party for the Thailand Elite members. So far, I have only seen extremely stupid on Thai Visa. I will be, however, investing 10 million for my trouble free stay in Thailand when the time comes. I heard the same from two different business associates that wanted to live in Thailand and they setup a BOI approved software company with 10 million Baht capital and after 3 years they finally gave up after burning the 10 million Baht. Must be the OPs flat-mate It doesn't matter if the scheme is eventually 'shut down', nothing is on sale forever. Those who did buy an elite card whether a 5 year with a few years left on it or a life time elite card, their stay in Thailand and their reentry is still valid as are the services. Just because the elite card isn't Sold to the public anymore doesn't mean the elite cards are somehow invalid! It's not beyond possibility that in any future shut down, the Immigration entry perk gets shut down as well. This is Thailand. Nothing is for certain, and forever here, especially for farang.
