July 30, 201411 yr So iv got this ridiculasoly stacked set of sheets for thai wife EOS and now i notice that TM 30 is needed, but the landlady hasnt compl;eted this form and iv been living in the house for nearly 1 year. Is it possible to get the thai wife to fill it out on the form it says house master, post master or residence Also as nobody hs completed this form when i go down are they going to fine me 2k, for them not completing it. On side not the documentation they need is getting out of hand! Thanks in advance
July 30, 201411 yr It is a requirement for the landlord/housemaster and that person can be fined. Unless the house is owned by your wife, she cannot sign the form.
July 30, 201411 yr Only a very few immigration office have ever been reported as wanting the TM30 when applying for the extension. If your wife's name is on the rental agreement then she could do it if asked for.
July 31, 201411 yr The house where I live was bought by my wife, but it is on the bank name.... what should we do?
July 31, 201411 yr She would be the possessor of the house so she could do the TM30 form if needed. Does she have a house book as head of household for it?
August 3, 201411 yr What does EOS mean? The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
August 3, 201411 yr ^^ EOS = Extension of Stay ?? Edit to add (flippantly) ... if you have just got a Thai wife then EOS could mean End Of Sanity. Edited August 3, 201411 yr by ThaidDown
August 3, 201411 yr Thanks. The only thing I could think of was "end of season" and I know of an EOS range of Canon cameras, but neither made any sense. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
August 3, 201411 yr There are a variety of views about who has the duty to make the notification with form TM.30. A senior immigration officer was even quoted as saying that both the owner and the tenant of a rented residence must do it. My take on it is here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/747147-immigration-foreigners-must-now-carry-valid-id-at-all-times-report-within-24-hours/?view=findpost&p=8170121, ie only the House Master must submit this report, and with a rented property the tenant is the House Master. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
