Hello! I am a lawyer in the United States, I have worked for three years in a large law firm doing civil insurance defense litigation.

I am planning on moving to Thailand within the next few months, and was wondering what sort of job opportunities would be available to a former lawyer with work experience? Will this help me to find a better job?

I understand under Thai law I am not allowed to actually work as a lawyer in Thailand (right?), but would also like to find a job other than the generic teaching English that expats generally do.

Any help would be much appreciated.
