buddhaland
My one year visa is up soon and I am heading back to the States in early October. I should have gotten on this sooner, but I would like to have a broken molar extracted and have an upper bridge made to fill in for 4 missing teeth. I live in the Sankhampaeng area, but will travel wherever within reason to visit a competent, reasonably priced dentist. Any suggestions based on your experience would be much appreciated. I understand that many hospitals have dentists on staff - how do these generally compare skill- and price-wise? Thanks in advance for any help! uptheos
You should find one on this list of medics etc. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/513012-recommended-doctors-and-medical-specialists/
Popular Post beau thai
Put Elite at Panthip Plaza on your calling list. There again tonight and my gf and I have had some pretty complicated stuff done there and have no hesitation in recommending them. They are at least as good as very good dentists I have had in the UK and Spain. BTW, several other recent dental threads if you search this forum which may be helpful to you. Good luck

FolkGuitar
I've always been satisfied with the work done by The Chiang Mai Dental Hospital just west of the intersection of Chiang Puak Rd and the Superhighway. I had fillings done, crowns, bridges, and recently a two-tooth rear denture, and quite pleased with the results, care of the staff, (and the prices) of all the work. Frank James
Dr. Pongsakorn on Moon Muang St. Very reasonable rates, good work, fast service of dental appliance work. Good man, too.
Oscar2
THE CLASS ACT is Grace Dental, Nimmanhemin Soi 11 (http://www.gracedentalclinic.com/contactus-eng.html). they charge more than others for a fancy clinic and they cater to "dental tourism". plenty of other excellent dentists around for less money. Sparkles
Dr. Supachi - Big Smile Clinic - the best around. http://www.bigsmile-chiangmai.com/ I am always intrigued by "the best around" does that mean you have tried every dentist in CM ? Must be at least 50 + of them. No problem finding someone you are comfortable with, as many of us have.

The OP asked, I replied with what I know... if you do not agree then say so. Must we analyise each response to the max? And there are those who won't respond even when they have good information - knowing that there are the types like these two who don't know of what they speak. Yes, but a simple search of the CM forum will yield loads of information. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/737861-best-dentist-in-chiang-mai/?p=8040459&hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/651545-dental-4u-recommendations-for-good-dentists/?p=7935221&hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/730561-elite-smile/?p=7909857&hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/592351-recommend-a-dental-clinic/page-3?hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist#entry7899816 http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/715023-good-dentist-in-cm/page-2?hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist#entry7637435 http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/697201-dentist-in-cm/?p=7317348&hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/663660-dental-implant-cm/?p=6760263&hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/621259-bad-day-at-chiang-mai-ram-hospital-dental-clinic/?p=6145777&hl=%2Bgood+%2Bdentist
malt25
I've used Elite Smile at Pantip plaza and have no hesitation in recommending them. As good or better than I've used in Australia.
