Just got my work permit

Featured Replies

My company finally gave me my work permit which will expire next year but the problem is that I saw in my passport that the non b visa is due to expire next month (September)

Please note that I have that visa since June.

Could you please tell me what would be the next step for me?

Thank you so much.

With your work permit and documents from the company you can apply for a one year extension of stay based upon working.

You can apply for it at immigration during the last 30 days of your entry.

Depends if you are eligible for an Extension of Permission to Stay based on working in the Kingdom of Thailand, if so then get your company to prepare the papers along the lines of the document attached below and get down to immigration to start the ball rolling (If you are a teacher, the required papers are very different).

If you are not eligible, then it's a trip to Penang fro a One Year Multiple Entry Non Immigrant 'B' Visa, see link to required papers below (you have the WP so no Letter of Acceptance required).
