I heard that both MacBook Air and MacBook pro will be upgraded soon and the MacBook Pro Retina will get a 1TB SSD. Now that sounds interesting, but probably not cheap.

No, you'll be able to upgrade to Yosemite for free, when it's launched, if you buy one of the new machines. Check out mactalk in Australia or macrumo(u)rs - sorry, can't remember if there's. "u" in there or not lol

I'm down with an iPad and iPhone but don't understand why anyone would pay twice or three times  as much for an Apple laptop over a Windows.

I love anything Apple, so so user friendly, and the design is nice , for me I cannot fault Apple....

Will always be a fan.... The Mercedes of Computers...

I'm down with an iPad and iPhone but don't understand why anyone would pay twice or three times  as much for an Apple laptop over a Windows. 

If you look at the quality of the hardware, specs, and build, you would see that an equally high quality Window laptop would cost the same.

Partly true but then add the extra cost of Windoze operating (legit), system.... not the same   facepalm.gif   with a Mac it's included. .... whistling.gif
