Applying for an ED Visa in Phnom Pehn

Featured Replies

I haven't find any recent reports so seeking for informations. I have seen that "it takes 4 days" and "they don't like to do it".

Is that true?

I was planning to go and do it in Vientiane as it seems to be easier, but the Thai Airways staff in Francfort forced me to buy a outbound ticket before boarding so I took it real quick as I was also running late, costed me 1600TBH.

Does that work as in Vientiane, apply in the morning and get it in the afternoon of the next working day? Do they ask for more documents?

I have also seen that I might want to use "agents". Where can I find those, what do they do exactly and how much does it cost?

Any info appreciated!

If you use an agent in PP and pay about $20 extra it is possible to get it next the next day.otherwise it is 3 or 4 days.

Ok then I don't mind at all, how can I contact an agent? Are they standing in front of the embassy?

The may some outside. You could try to contact One World Travel.

You will still need to go to embassy to make your application for a non-ed and they will be able to pick it up for you.

Ok thanks,

I will post a report by the end of this month

I went there and they denied me.

I just back from Vientiane and got it

Did they tell you reason, why they denied you? What they did tell you? Missing papers or something else?

This was 4 years ago but went to PP to get my ED Visa, went on a Tuesday morning they asked when I was leaving Cambodia, I replied Thursday afternoon, they told me to come back Thursday morning which I did and my visa was ready for me

Can't remember if I paid extra but I didn't use a agent, was surprised at how easy it was however things may have changed now of course
