From our correspondent Groucho Marx at Changi business airport, tipped of by Thaksin's second pilot (he flew for a 'famous' monk before), witnesses a confuse situation, a lady yelling: 'I swear, I didn't know!' in an incident involving the first pilot who ran away with her Amex Centurion so-called to pay for the kerosene (as she wasn't in Thailand, she couldn't know he had recently pulled the same trick on another 'well-off' lady from Bangkok), and then in her perturbation she twisted her ankle while climbing the ladder (her Lana army bodyguard told he saw someone in a yellow overall pushing her). The junta in Burma sentenced ASSK to house arrest in Rangoon at her lakeside residence with no communication.
Do you think that the Thai junta will attempt to elevate Yingluck to a similar status?
I mean house arrest in Lad Prao, no Facebook, Skype, Twitter, emails , nothing. no Emporium, Paragon or visitors. Just tea with her son. Sounds rather cruel.

Lol RC, no idea but doubt she'd be able to cope without any of those things, although Candy Crush is probably far too complicated for her.

Just for this that are getting upset about me comparing ASSK to Yingluck, it was said in jest, sorry I didn't put a humour sign next to it, although as I said World Press being there should have been a giveaway, as no one is interested in the one trick puppet. Dear oh dear, although I believe some of her supporters on TVF have compared her to ASSK, which is ridiculous.

I hope she does return and faces the courts. I do not think she is guilty of corruption on the rice scheme more so incompetence and being shackled with her brothers scumbag minders and enforcers. The same crap as Abhisit had to deal while he was PM and shackled by the corruption of those around him and the Dems bed mates. Would be interesting to see how these people would preform in a lawful environment which Khun Prayuth is bringing to bear. Not saying she has the economic understanding of Abhisit but she does have charisma to present as a leader with honest politicians around her. Call for her is whether her son having a future in Thailand is more important to her than her scumbag brother. If she turns up at Swampy then good for her.

It is refreshing to see an open minded post. I have mixed feelings about her return and hope it doesn't lead to more turmoil. Hopefully her case will be handled appropriately without fanning the flames of unrest and division again.

 

If she does return it can be certain that she has a plan. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

 

What did you have (too much of) today? Are you daft? '...it can be certain that she has a plan...' she, a plan, the last one she really had on her own was about the design of her birthday cake when she got 12, and I can tell you it got really messy, since then she refrains from taking any personal initiative, she doesn't even dare to choose by hersef between an abricot and peach colour double woven cashmere cardigan, ring-ring, what do you think, which one should I take... Sad, but true, Thakky was honestly (for once) right about her being his puppet and his clone, you know. 

 

 

Being as she has no charges yet and no convictions for jail I believe she will return. Of course she has been supplied with a plan for a quick departure if needed.

 

As for comparing her to Abhist that is an insult to him. He worked with a minority government some of who had been Thaksin trained. If you check the figures from Amnesty international you will see where even with these odds plus the red shirt terrorists he managed to halt the growth of corruption. Where as when he left office Yingluck cut the financing down for the commission dedicated to searching out corruption and the corruption began to rise. This was with a majority government. Imagine what Abhist could have done with a majority government. No comparison between the two.wai.gif

I believe many things, but I'm confused by the timetag of 09:49AM. Can't we agree on a unique timestamp?

 

Maybe switch to Stardate ?

 

BTW the photo shows what might be lots of luggage, but no clear picture of who might be back.

I am currently searching for every poster on TVF that said "I knew yingluck will return" and "She is so brave and will return" and "She will face her accusers and be proven innocent" because in 9 hours if she doesn't return the new "evolved" excuses will be "I knew yingluck wouldn't return. The courts are biased" or ""She won't face her accusers because she will be proven guilty" or "She is so brave which is why she won't return" Thus is the life of a regime supporter.

 

 

 

Jamie, I feel for you mate. All that time spent stalking searching and she goes and spoils it all by returning, but I'm sure you will bounce back with with your usual measured views on the situation...

I've been watching channel7 all night, but seem to have missed the NCPO broadcast. Of course it might be that relaxing the 'stranglehold' on media the NCPO broadcast was only on some rather than all channels.

I've been watching channel7 all night, but seem to have missed the NCPO broadcast. Of course it might be that relaxing the 'stranglehold' on media the NCPO broadcast was only on some rather than all channels.

It was showed in place of my sons cartoons.

Obviously the right choice for making such broadcast. To avoid me missing more news, can you tell me which channel and since we're at it what time was your son's  cartoon program to rudely interrupted ?
