Is There A Notoary Service at Chang Wattana?

Featured Replies

Hi:

I am getting married to a Thai and have received the certified letter from my embassy already..

I have to now have CW sign off on the translated / notarized copy. Is there a translation / notary service

at CW and if so how much does it cost?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

What you need to do is to have the document from the embassy legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consular department. That is on CW-road itself, not at the government complex where immigration is located. (But very close to it).

But first you have to get the document translated into Thai.

The translation agency can take care of the legalization for you, for a fee of course.

legalization costs 800 baht for express service (same day) and 400 baht for regular service (for an extra 65 baht they send it to your home by EMS, you should have it within 1 week).

Translation services are near embassies and also near CW-road. Prices range between 300 and 500 baht.

HI

thanks,  are translation services in the government area or outside on CW road itself?

As for the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consular department, as it is not in the government complex,  is there a sign in english advising of this building?
