Tourist visa

Featured Replies

I am from the US. I am 49. I have never overstayed on a visa before. I come to Thailand every 90 days for 28-30 days. On this trip I will be overstaying by 1 day. I went to the Thai immigration department to ask this question and they were utterly worthless.

Will I be penalized for overstaying by 1 day because one of my flights was cancelled by the airline and rescheduled? I know about the 500 baht a day fine. What I'm really asking is "will I be allowed to come back as usual in November without any problems?

Thanks for any responses

I am on the visa you get at the airport. I have no idea what type of visa it is. It's the white card the airlines gives you.

There should be no problem.

At the airports in BKK a one day overstay is noted in the passport, but no fine is asked for.

Re-entry into the coutnry should be no problem. New rules are not in effect yet and only apply to persons with an overstay of 90 days or more.

White card airline gives you is not an visa. Its arrival card. U got visa stamped in passport.

It is not a visa of any kind. It is a visa exempt entry.
