Bangkok Internet Banking stops from Dec 15th (not mobile banking)

Featured Replies

Just got an email this morning that Bangkok Bank Internet Banking Website stops from Dec 15h

Ps: This is the Website not Mobile Banking.

Dear Bualuang iBanking Customers,

Bangkok Bank would like to inform you that the Bualuang iBanking service will be discontinued from December 15, 2026. You will still be able to do all banking transactions on Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking application along with other helpful features, such as QR Code payments, cardless ATM withdrawals, scheduled transfers and the ability to lock/unlock accounts.

If you are not already using Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking, please download the application from the App Store or Play Store.

The scheduled transactions service on Bualuang iBanking will be discontinued from November 1, 2026. Any scheduled transactions set to take effect from December 15, 2026 onwards will be automatically canceled. To prevent scheduled transfers or payments from being missed we recommend that you prepare in advance by scheduling them on Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued trust in Bangkok Bank.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please visit your nearest branch or call the Bangkok Bank Call Center 1333.

Everyone should be using apps by now, it's obvious this is the direction of travel by banks

Agree, I am just wondering why Bangkok Bank waited this long, SCB has stopped with their Banking site already 1-2 years?

I know of several dinosaurs that refuse to accept mobile banking apps are the way to go, citing security problems as the main reason! Stuck in their ways and refusing to accept change, so any excuse will suffice.

For some, it comes down to the fact that their phones are so old, it won't run modern apps. It's going to be a hard learning curve for some that detest, or indeed, are frightened of technological advances.

I will certainly be able to understand the frustration, and maybe anger this announcement will have to a segment of expats, but it was obviously coming.

Yep, new smartphone that will work all apps, circ 5k baht so no good excuse. As you get older you need to resist the resistance to change
