Extension or overstay

I am due back to work on the 31st (depart BKK) but 30 day visa expires on 29th. I work regular 28/28 but due to rotation adjustments I have an extra week off. I would rather just pay for 2 days overstay at the immigration when I fly out (2000bt right?) than hang around an immigration office for half a day and pay 1900. Could this 2 day overstay cause any problems in the future?

500 per day is 1000 baht, just pay when leaving after passing immigration at Swampy

If this is not a spam topic I think it may be advisable for the OP to do a search of this forum for the new rules and consequences of overstay.  Leave on time or risk not coming back.

It is either get a 7 day extension or pay for two days of over stay. Up to you.

Don't break the law and take a chance.  Go get an extension.

A couple of months ago the overstay would have been the better option; now it is certainly better to get an extension.
